Today and yesterday, Yahoo Finance is all about Ali & Larry. Well, Larry is more interesting here.
Is Larry actually retiring? Heck, no. He is making the way for the co-CEO(s), to execute some of Larry's decisions that would not be possible to execute by Larry himself.
What does it mean? If I am at Oracle payroll at this moment, I would lift up both my ears to sniff any possible rumors in my hallways.
Why? Reputation of the HP guy is well known (if not, look him up in his wiki page). And, the powerful lady has the Dollars in her hands.
Really? Being with Sun for couple years and happen to be in the very organization taken over by Larry in 2010, I know there are plenty of deadwood lying around, at least from the ex-Sun organizations. For oracle, I do not know for sure. With its long history, a scrub is probably not too bad an idea to refresh up the looks.
After all, revenue and earning has not be too satisfactory, for a while now.
Time for some action; probably bloody ones.
To investors' concern? I will put a "+" sign to it (we will see in 6 months).
